CPI (ML)-New Democracy expresses its serious grief at untimely and tragic death of Com. Rayala Chandrasekhar (RCS). He was Chairperson of Central Control Commission of CPI (ML)-Mass Line.

Com. RCS was drawn to communist revolutionary movement from his early student days and remained in the revolutionary movement since then. A native of village Pindiporlu in Khammam district, several members of his family worked in the leading positions in the communist revolutionary movement including his elder brother Com. Ravi, CCM of CPI (ML)-New Democracy. Com. RCS had, for nearly 28 years, been a member of first AP and then Telengana State Committee of CPI (ML)-New Democracy. About 68 years at the time of his death, he worked for nearly five decades in the revolutionary movement.

Com. RCS worked for a long period in the agency movement. He volunteered to undertake difficult tasks facing the Party and was full of warmth. He was a known leader of peasant movement.

Central Committee of CPI (ML)-New Democracy pays its homage to Com. RCS and expresses its condolences to members of his family- his wife, son and other members of his family, and to his comrades.
