In Eluru in Andhra Pradesh, more than one thousand workers of Eluru Jute Mill held a demonstration today i.e. on May 19, 2020.

Workers are demanding wages for the lock down period. Workers have refused to join duty without payment of wages for the lock down period. Demonstration was held in front of the Jute Mill. It was jointly organized by the Unions working in the Mill including IFTU affiliated Union. Workers raised slogans in support of their demand.

Demonstrators were addressed by the leaders of the Unions.
